SELF-CLINCHING FASTENERS FOR SHEET METAL ASSEMBLIES

Our self-clinching fasteners are engineered to provide strong, permanent threads in thin sheet metal where tapping or welding is impractical. Designed for high-volume manufacturing and critical assemblies, these fasteners become an integral part of the parent material when installed correctly.

Self-clinching fasteners are installed by pressing the fastener into a correctly sized hole in ductile sheet material. During installation, the surrounding material flows into a specially designed undercut, mechanically locking the fastener in place. Once installed, the fastener provides a flush, permanent thread with excellent resistance to torque-out and push-out forces, without the need for welding, adhesives, or secondary operations.
