    EXOTIC ALLOY FASTENERS

STAINLESS STEEL, TITANIUM & EXOTIC ALLOY FASTENERS FOR CRITICAL MANUFACTURING

We supply stainless steel, titanium, and exotic alloy fasteners for cleanroom, vacuum, and high-purity manufacturing where corrosion resistance, stability, and repeatable performance are critical. These products are commonly specified in semiconductor equipment, aerospace and defence manufacturing, medical devices, vacuum systems, analytical instruments, wet-process tooling, and other regulated environments where material choice and surface condition can directly influence contamination control and process integrity.

Stainless steel fasteners (including 304, 316, and 316L) are selected for their corrosion resistance, cleanability, and compatibility with aggressive cleaning and sterilisation processes. Titanium fasteners are used where low outgassing, non-magnetic behaviour, and high strength-to-weight performance are required, particularly in vacuum hardware and sensitive equipment builds. For elevated temperature, corrosive gases, chemical exposure, or demanding mechanical duty, exotic alloys can be specified to maintain performance where conventional metals may not be suitable.

Where required, we can support material and batch traceability, including certificates of conformity, material certificates, and supporting quality documentation to meet audit and compliance requirements. We offer a broad range of inch and metric sizes, thread forms, head styles, and strength grades, with support for custom configurations, special lengths, and application-specific requirements.

Industries & Typical Use Cases
  • Space & defence assemblies requiring high reliability and controlled build quality
  • Semiconductor equipment, vacuum hardware, wet-process tooling, and clean assembly zones
  • Marine & offshore environments requiring strong corrosion resistance and stable mechanical performance
  • Oil & gas and chemical processing where elevated temperature and aggressive media may be present
  • Medical devices and high-spec instrumentation builds where material stability and cleanability are critical
Common Exotic & Corrosion-Resistant Materials
  • Stainless steels: 304, 316, 316L, 17-4PH (application dependent)
  • Titanium: Grade 2 (CP), Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) for strength-to-weight and non-magnetic builds
  • Nickel alloys: Inconel® (e.g., 600/625/718), Hastelloy® (e.g., C-276) for high temp / corrosive media
  • Super austenitic / duplex grades (application dependent) for chloride and offshore exposure
  • Speciality alloys on request for temperature, corrosion, or strength-critical requirements
Fastener Types Supported
  • Socket cap screws, hex bolts, and precision shoulder screws
  • Countersunk, pan, button, and low-profile head screws
  • Nuts: hex, thin / jam, flange, all-metal locking, prevailing torque variants
  • Washers: flat, spring, tooth, shim, and close-fit / precision variants
  • Pins and hardware: dowels, taper pins, retainers, and assembly hardware
Size Ranges & Thread Forms
  • Metric: commonly M1.6 to M24 (other sizes available on request)

  • Thread types: coarse and fine pitch options, plus special pitches when specified
  • Lengths: standard catalogue lengths plus special lengths and partial thread configurations
  • Tolerances: standard or precision / close-fit options depending on application
Technical Options for Critical Builds
  • Non-magnetic or low magnetic permeability options for sensitive equipment builds (material dependent)
  • Surface condition control: clean finish, passivated options, and low-particulate handling where required
  • Vented / vacuum-friendly features for pressure equalisation and reduced trapped volume (application dependent)
  • Strength grades and heat treatment options aligned to duty requirements (material dependent)
  • Custom machining for special heads, through-holes, captive features, or geometry constraints
Quality, Documentation & Traceability
  • Certificates of Conformity available on request
  • Material certification and batch traceability options where specified
