MSDS – ESD Kapton (Polyimide) Tape
Description
ESD-safe Kapton polyimide backing with silicone adhesive, offering excellent electrical insulation and outstanding thermal resistance for demanding production environments. Common uses include protecting PCB gold fingers during wave soldering, serving as a ground barrier and phase insulation in high-performance toroidal coils, and acting as an outer wrap on small bobbin-wound coils and on form-wound coils for traction motors.

Handling & Storage
